garik: The Indian elephant Letzie from Cirkus Berny.  A test of strength at Grønland square. The Indian elephant Letzie at Cirkus Berny weighs 4 tons, and here she tries her strength with the Ekeberg tram. She is born in Ceylon, is 30 years old and has spent her whole life at the circus. Here she is in the middle of the tram line in front of Grønland square, and to move her, even the tram has to have strong momentum. There was quite a commotion when Letzie straddled out of the circus tent in the middle of the rush hour to have a look around in the city. Arne Køpke
